VCU School of Pharmacy

The APPE Refresher Modules are a series of asynchronous modules that will help remind you of some important things to keep in mind while on APPE rotations. These refreshers deal with answering drug information questions or clinical questions that you might encounter while working with your preceptors. We will go over what drug information resources are available via the School of Pharmacy (SOP) and VCU Libraries, and remind you of how to answer drug information/clinical questions using primary, secondary, and tertiary resources, including PubMed, Lexicomp, and UpToDate. At the end of each module, you will also have the opportunity to complete several practice questions (i.e. quizzes) related to these important skills.
