This course covers the following topics: the importance of caregivers as learners during early intervention visits; three characteristics of effective early intervention; methods to implement adult learning principles to support caregiver learning; the use of coaching as an adult learning strategy; and the application of the five characteristics of coaching for supporting caregiver learning.
